Golf Clubs: Properly fitted golf clubs
can improve your scoring ability and enjoyment of golf. Our
professional staff provides state-of-the-art, custom fitting for men,
women, and juniors of all ages and abilities.
Our product line-up from Callaway, Taylor Made, Ping, Titleist, Nike, and Cleveland provides outstanding choices to fit almost any
golfer. Club members and their guests are assured of consistently
low prices, sales assistance from trained professionals, and the high
level of service they deserve.
Men's and Women's Clothing: You
can always be assured of outstanding fashion and value with clothing
purchased from the Golf Shop. Clothing from Polo, Ashworth, Nike, Adidas, Kashwere, Sport Haley, Foot Joy, Puma, Peter Milar, Greg Norman, Fairway & Greene, Under Armour and EP Pro is selected based on
quality and style. Club members can always enjoy a 20% discount off retail pricing on
any item and can expect even more discounted on seasonal promotions and
clearance items.
Special Orders: While we may not always
have the item you are looking for, in most cases we can special order it
quickly. Please let us know when we can provide this service for
you.
Golf Carts:Golf Carts are available for
rent through the Golf Shop. Only persons with a valid driver's license are
allowed to operate golf cars. Ownership of private golf cars is
not allowed.
Rental Clubs:We have quite a few sets
of rental clubs available for your guests to use while at the
Club. Reservations may be made in advance to guarantee their
availability. We believe the high quality rental clubs we provide
will enhance your guest's enjoyment. We currently carry the most recent sets of Callaway clubs. With the rental price of $25, the guest will also receive a 6 pack of Callaway golf balls in a logoed valuables pouch.
Club Repair: The Golf Shop staff does
minor club repair work. Regripping a single club, in most cases,
can be done
immediately; a set of clubs can be done within several days. A
large variety of men's, women's junior, and putter grips are
available. More extensive club repair work is sent to outside
facilities and can usually be completed within ten days.
Lockers:Members can rent lockers
on an annual basis. Men and Women can rent lockers by calling the Golf Shop. Guests
may use members' lockers or use the reserved guest lockers in the men's
locker room and open lockers in the women's.
Towel Service:For your
convenience, towels are provided for your use at the Club Care service
counter. Towels are also provided in golf carts. Please
return the towels to the Service Counter after your round so they can be
laundered and reused - towels should not leave the Club at any time.
Bag Storage: The Golf Shop Staff
will store and clean golf clubs as requested by RGCC members. For
more information, please call the Golf Shop at (507) 282-3170.
Mark DeBolt is Rochester Golf and Country Club’s PGA Head Golf Professional. Originally from Oklahoma City, Mark has been an integral part of the staff at RGCC since he arrived here in 2001 as the ‘Teaching Professional’. Mark has two children, Michael and Madeline. Mark received a bachelor’s degree from Southern Methodist University in Dallas and lettered four years for the Mustangs. Mark received All America honors in 1974 and was teammates with Mike Barge (Head Golf Professional at Hazeltine National), and the late Payne Stewart. Mark has played golf with many of the best players in the world including Payne Stewart, Ben Hogan, Arnold Palmer, Ben Crenshaw, and Tom Kite. Well respected for his talent and professionalism both on and off the golf course, and especially his teaching abilities, Mark is considered a real asset to RGCC.
(mdebolt@troongolf.com)Jenny Ellefson is in her sixth year at RGCC. Jenny grew up starting at the age of 5, playing golf left-handed in Winona and making the high school state tournament 3 times. She was also ranked #1 in the state for Class AA her last two years of high school. Jenny went on to play golf for the University of Minnesota Women’s Golf Team for 4 years and was Captain of the team her senior year. Jenny placed 5th individually at the Big Ten Championship her senior year. Jenny turned professional after college and went to be a PGA Assistant, Golf Shop Manager and Teaching Professional at Southern Hills Golf Club, Island View Golf Club, The Wilds Golf Club, and Brackets Crossing Country Club before coming to Rochester. She was the Merchandiser at The Wilds and Brackett’s Crossing and enjoys that role in Rochester.
