Men's League
The "Commissioner's Cup" Men's Tuesday Night
League is intended as fun and friendly competition; players of all
experience and ability levels participate. The League will be held
from May - August with over 160 men participating. The revolving
format of the League allows players to meet other league members on a
weekly basis. Three scrambles are also held during the league
season to allow team members the chance to play together. New
members are encouraged to join the League by May 1st and can be easily assigned to
a team or placed on the year-long substitute list. Current
handicaps are required for all Men's League participants.
Women's 9 Hole League
Meet other members of the club and learn more about the game of golf.
Weekly events encourage friendly competition among all participants.
The league meets every Thursday morning for an 9:00am shotgun start.
Special events include the League Invitational, Beat the Pro, 9 &
18 League Scramble, Guest Day, Three person best-ball, and the Ladies'
Invitational. If you haven't the time for an 18 hole round and are
looking to meet other women golfers, you are encouraged to join this

Women's 18 Hole League
A great way to improve your
golf game and to meet other golfing members of the club.
Weekly events and tournaments encourage friendly competition among all
participants. The league meets every Tuesday morning for an 8:30am
shotgun start. Special events include the 9 & 18 Hole League
Scramble, Memorial Cup Match Play Tournament, 2-Person Best-ball, Guest
Day, Women Helping Women, and the opportunity to join the
Southern Minnesota Women's Golf Association (SMWGA) and to be a part of
the RGCC Traveling Team. Pick up a schedule in the Golf Shop for

Dewsweepers
Adult members get a chance to play the
golf course before it is "officially" open for play. On
weekday mornings only - as early as first light - up to 8 adult members
may play golf provided they yield to the Grounds Crew staff at all
times. All such groups must complete play by 8:00am.
Additional play is possible provided tee time reservations have been
made. The Clubhouse, Golf Shop, and practice facilities are not
open until their regularly scheduled times.
Women's Twilight League
Conducted on Thursday evenings at 5:30pm
throughout the summer, this league provides women an opportunity to play after
work. This league enables women to meet others who enjoy evening
golf with an emphasis on having fun. Ask the Golf Shop staff for
more details.
Couples
Scheduled throughout the season on
Saturday afternoons, you do not have to be married to
your partner to play in Couples events. With a 4pm shotgun start
for a nine hole round, the emphasis in Couples
golf is on fun. Events are planned for any caliber golfer and a club
handicap is not required. Look for two couples' guest day events
during the summer and ask your friends today.
The New Beginner's League
A new league designed especially for women who do not yet feel
comfortable playing the game of golf. Whether it be a lack of general
knowledge, skills or both, the beginner's league is structured to
prepare a golfer in all aspects of the game. Professionals are available
for tutoring: from rules to etiquette, short game to long, or simply the
expectations as to where to stand, tend a flag, or repair the course.
Also, the basic skills of chipping and putting will be emphasized to
gain the self confidence necessary for regular course play. |
