Under the direction of renowned golf architect Tom Doak of Renaissance Golf, the Rochester Golf & Country Club 18-hole golf course is currently undergoing a substantial restoration to return the course back to its original 1925 A.W. Tillinghast design.
Doak’s master plan for the course is derived from the 1937 and 1939 aerial photos. It returns greens, bunkers, and fairways to their original shapes and sizes, includes all new cart paths and tees, and substantial tree removal to open the vistas and topography that Tillinghast originally envisioned. Work on this historical course will be completed by spring of 2019.
